A horse show can be a very high stress environment, and Blackhound’s consistent attention to our rider and horse, calm but efficient management, and general optimism has made every event both a wonderful experience and a wonderful learning experience. It is hard to maintain cool when everyone is emotional–Kate does so, consistently, every time. It is hard to manage a disappointed rider or upset parent–Kate manages us with a maturity that we admire.
